Philipp Plein's Fall 2017 presentation at NYFW featured fur in unexpected places, puffer coats in unexpected materials, Fetty Wap, Desiigner, Pete Wentz, and that one hot guy whose mugshot went viral on social media a couple years ago. The collection takes a very literal approach to the luxury streetwear trend, and your girl is not complaining. ;)

Keep reading for a breakdown of my fave looks and moments!

I'm getting a Thrasher Mag flame tee vibe from this gown which is an unexpected interpretation of a specific streetwear trend. I'm into it, nonetheless. Also, Fetty Wap...

I always expect a creative use of fur from a Plein collection and FW17 was no exception. I love the embroidered graphic on the sleeve of this super fluffy, red number. The thigh boots are very reminiscent of Fenty x Puma FW16.

I'm obsessed with this floor length silver puffer. It falls somewhere between 90s hip hop and swaggie astronaut. 'Bout it. Also, there is a special place in my heart for graphics on fur, as seen on this tailored black bomber.

Here's a shot of Pete Wentz and one of Mugshot Bae for good measure...

How bomb would this scarf look with an oversized white bomber!? Very bomb. Very bomb indeed.
